The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (L.O.L.E.R.) are a requirement for all businesses that use lifting equipment on a daily basis, meaning that all lifting operations must be planned by a competent individual, with all lifting carried out safely and under supervision appropriately.
It also states that all equipment used must be appropriate for the work to be carried and fit for use, and reports maintained for any equipment faults. These regulations were introduced to reduce risk of damage and injury, and to ensure businesses carry out all lifting work in an acceptable manner that poses little danger to any persons in and around the work environment.
365 Site Support adheres strictly to this regulation and will carry out all work within these guidelines. Furthermore, our team is trained to provide full information about L.O.L.E.R. to certify the safe operation of lifting equipment on all construction and industrial sites.
Tail Lifts and Lorry mounted cranes (Hiabs) are areas which 365SiteSupport specialise in, our fully trained competent engineers currently carry out servicing, L.O.L.E.R testing and inspections on over 500 Tail Lifts and 276 cranes per year for some of the largest haulage fleets throughout the UK.
